A fisheries biologist by profession Brian Chan has over 25
years experience fly fishing stillwaters. An accomplished author
Brian’s Fly Fishing Strategies for Stillwaters and its companion
video set have been run away best sellers. Brian also co-authored,
Morris and Chan on Fly Fishing Trout Lakes and was a contributing
author to Fly Fishing British Columbia. In addition Brian is a regular
columnist for Fly Tying and Fishing Journal. His work has also appeared
in American Angler and B.C. Outdoors magazines and he is a frequent
contributor to www.bcadventure.com. Brian is a contract tyer for
Umpqua Feather Merchants and a member of Sage’s advisory staff.

Rowley has been fly fishing stillwaters for over 15 years.
His book, Fly Patterns for Stillwaters is testament to his love
of flat-water fly-fishing. Phil’s articles have appeared in numerous
magazines including, American Angler, Fly Tyer, Fly Fisherman, Northwest
Fly Fishing, Fly Fishing, B.C. Outdoors and Fly Tying and Fishing
Journal. Like Brian, Phil is a regular contributor to www.bcadventure.com
including his own column, Phil’s Fly Box. He was also a major contributor
to Fly Fishing British Columbia. Phil is also member of the Sage
professional family and a contract tyer with Umpqua Feather Merchants.
