Murray Ridge Ski Hill:

Murray Ridge is located at Fort St. James, in North by Northwest. The ski hill features snowboarding, cross country trails, a day lodge, restaurant, pub, ski shop, rentals and lessons.

Powder King Mountain Resort:

Powder King located in North by Northwest Region, is an area favorite namely for its dry, consistent powder and great gladed tree and bowl skiing. The mountain is located 67 km (42mi) northeast of Mackenzie BC. Dawson Creek is 210 km (130mi) north and Prince George is 195 km (120mi) south of Power King. Power King offers skiing & snowboarding, a day lodge, restaurant, pub, ski shop and rentals, a day care, on-hill accommodations and RV facilities.

Annual snowfall: 1252 cm (489 in)
Vertical Rise: 640 m (2099 ft)

Purden Ski Village:

Purden is central British Columbia's largest ski mountain. Located 60km (37 Miles) east of Prince George, it provides some of the best skiing and snowboarding in central British Columbia. Over 1,100 vertical feet of skiing on dry powder snow, treed runs and uncrowded slopes make Purden Ski Village a skier's paradise.

Shames Mountain:

Shames Mountain, located in British Columbia's North by Northwest Region, is 35km (21.7mi) west of Terrace and 137km (85mi) east of Prince Rupert. This coastal mountain ski area offers a snowboard park, a day lodge, restaurant, pub, ski shop, rentals and lessons. Full accommodations available at Terrace.

Season: December to Early April
Vertical rise: 1600 ft.

# of runs: 22 with the longest being 4km (2.5 miles).
Lifts: 1 double chair, 1 t-bar 1 handle tow
Difficulty: 21% beginner, 60% intermediate, 19% advanced

Ski Smithers / Hudson Bay Mountain:

Hudson Bay Mountain, is situated in the Bulkley Valley at Smithers in B.C.'s North by Northwest Region. Ski Smithers means down skiing, snowboarding facilities, 2 day lodges, restaurants, pub, day care, ski shop, rentals, lessons and weekend and holiday bus service to and from the hill.

Tabor Mountain Ski Resort:

Tabor Mountain is located 20km (12mi) east of Prince George on the Yellowhead Hwy. This ski facility located in North by Northwest has snowboarding, cross country trails, night skiing, a day lodge, restaurant, pub, ski shop, rentals and lessons. Full accommodations available at Prince George.
